The last time I published on this blog, I shared our nerdy nursery, and now we have a nerdy baby for that nursery!
On November 23rd, 2015 at 11:55am, we welcomed our beautiful daughter, Edith Margaret Nancy Bradley, into the world. She weighed 6lbs, 14oz and was 52cm long.
I have been off on maternity leave since November and it’s been great to hang out with our little one and get to know her as her little personality starts to take shape. She is a quiet little observer who is a happy little girl and loves routine.
And now get ready for many, many pictures that have been taken over the past few months.
In October, we had a wonderful maternity session with Jennifer Bailey Photography.
Then came Edith in a very fast and furious birth. We were lucky enough to have her at the Ottawa Birthing Centre with some amazing midwives.
Edith’s first few weeks are still a blur for me, but I made sure to photograph her whenever I was awake enough to move around.
When Edith was 7 days old, Jennifer Bailey Photography came back and did a session with us and it was wonderful.
December was a whirlwind of figuring out our new life and celebrating the holidays.
January brought a new year and a new routine to our life as I started Edith on a schedule. She is most definitely a baby who loves her routine!
We were lucky to have a Mommy and Baby session with Kim Ing Photography in January as well and I will cherish these portraits of us forever.
February we hid inside during the cold weather and snow. Edith figured out how to lift her head on her tummy which provided lots of new fun angles to photograph.
March brought laughing and touching toes.
It started to finally warm up around mid-April so we were able to get out of the house a bit more. Baby wearing walks and first time on the swing as well as first time eating solid food!
