iLove You ~ Shneay and Matt’s Wedding
Which one moment will last for each of you forever?
Bride: Seeing Matt for the very first time. I was a bundle of nerves in the moments leading up to the ceremony. But then, the doors of the church opened, I locked eyes with my almost-husband, and it all faded away.
Groom: Our first dance. On such a fast-paced day, I felt like we were able to slow down and really take in the moment.
Best advice for future bride/grooms?
Write lists! I Writing everything out really helped figure out what was missing, but more importantly it helped confirm we were on track. Definitely a good sanity check!
Best wedding related decision?
You mean besides hiring our most esteemed photographer Liz? 😉 Splurging on chiavari chairs. They probably went unnoticed by our guests, but it was one of those little things that made us happy.
What was the funniest memory from your wedding day?
Our friends and family lighting up the dance floor! We particularly loved the choreographed dance number to “Jump On It” a la Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
What is your favourite image from your wedding day and why?
Too hard to pick just one! We love the shot of the rings on our Superman and Wonderwoman coasters and the picture of us changing our relationship status on Facebook. Both are so very us as a couple – kinda nerdy, social media-loving phone addicts.
