Under the Archway ~ Jen and Dan’s Wedding
Jen and Dan were married last July in a beautiful ceremony at Strathmere. Everyone was moved as they watched these two start their life as a married couple. You could feel the love surrounding these two.
Every detail of the wedding was wonderful and everyone had a blast (including me!). I feel so lucky to have been the one to capture the images from this day.
Which one moment will last for each of you forever?
?Jen: Wiping a tear from Dan’s cheek during the ceremony.
?Dan: Standing at the archway with my new bride exchanging our wedding vows. ??
Best advice for future bride?
This is your big day so don’t compromise on anything that will make you and your soon-to-be husband unhappy or uncomfortable. We did our best to ensure our family and friends would enjoy themselves but the most important thing was that we had the wedding of our dreams.
Also, make sure your bustle will hold the weight of your dress. Mine didn’t and I ended up carrying my train all night!
Best advice for future grooms?
Do whatever your bride wants because making her happy is the most important. ??
Best wedding related decision?
Having the ceremony, dinner and reception in one location. Everything flowed smoothly throughout the day and our guests didn’t have to worry about traveling to the next venue.
What was the funniest memory from your wedding day?
There wasn’t one specific moment but we had a blast taking pictures in our photo booth and dancing the night away with our guests.
Their cake topper was modelled after Princess Leia and Han Solo. Another reason why I love this couple so much!
