Little Legolas ~ Matilda’s Session
Matilda is the littlest member of our family. She is my parents’ dog and at the time of this session was about 5 months old. My sister, Jane, is currently living with our parents, which means that Matilda gets to spend everyday with her best friend, Sonnet (Jane’s dog). The two are actually sisters, but were born in different litters, a year apart. They love each other, though Matilda is clearly the little sister in the relationship.
Matilda’s nickname is Legolas because she always has her leg lifted in the air to show you her belly, which she would like rubbed right now, thank you very much. When you forget to rub her belly she’ll happily remind you by swatting your hand with her paw, giving your hand kisses or “talking” to you. We try to resist, but she’s so silly and cute that we usually give in
