The fast and the fabulous ~ Emma and Matt’s Engagement Session

Yesterday’s engagement session was not only fun, but special to me because the groom, Matt, and I went to high school together! When Matt and Emma contacted me to photograph their Spring 2013 wedding, I was extremely excited!

I was even more excited when we started planning their engagement session. I always encourage my couples to choose somewhere that has special meaning to them as a couple. Emma and Matt met through speed skating so it was an obvious choice to have the session at the rink they met at.

Their local club is the Oakville Speedskating Club so we got some shots with the sign.

After we were done, Emma and Matt had a race – Emma is winning!
