Marriage and Mortgages ~ FIona and Derek’s Engagement Session

Fiona and Derek are such a fun couple. We had a great time at their engagement shoot, taking full advantage of a fabulous graffiti wall that added a real urban feel to their session. I always urge couples to put thought into where they want their session to take place, because the background can really influence the tone of the photographs.

While it was supposed to be an engagement shoot, their adorable dog Chase snuck into a few photos too. We didn’t mind though – anyone that good looking belongs in front of a camera!

Derek works at Capital Mortgages, and he helped Thomas and I when we renewed our mortgage. The fantastic job he did makes me all the more excited to share these beautiful photos.
