About Face Makeup by Alexandra ~ Bridal Makeup
I love when clients become friends – and most of my clients do which is so awesome. I photographed Alexandra and Mike’s wedding last July and we had such a blast. These two are so awesome that I just love spending time with them. Almost 1 year to the day, we got together again, but this time it’s for Alexandra’s new business venture; About Face Makeup by Alexandra where she offers gorgeous bridal and bridesmaids makeup application for the big day!
On Sunday, myself along with two former clients (now friends!) and some of Alexandra’s friends, all came together to make this special session happen. Some of the girls, including Alexandra herself, had quite the early start but everyone was so amazing and accommodating – even when things ran a bit late (as they usually do in things like this!). But not to worry, there was plenty of candy and good talks to go around while we prepped.
A special thank you goes out to our “groom” for the day, Mike, who was such a trooper and did a great job being a model.
Thanks to the lovely ladies; Sarah D, Sarah B, Katie, Emma, Ashely and Michelle – you all rocked it and looked fabulous!
One of my fave shots of the day: Sarah D getting made up!
Alexandra working her magic.
Chandelier + mirror = awesomesauce.
The lovely Katie. You may remember her wedding here. Katie is now an awesome full time organic farmer but she won’t be pulling any weeds in this gorgeous get-up! lol.
With Mike, the awesome fake groom for the day.
Sarah D grew up in the country and infused this into her wedding day by wearing cowboy boots. She brought them along to our shoot and I thought it was so perfect!
Sarah wore her mother’s cathedral veil at her wedding – just stunning.
Mirror, mirror, on the wall.
Check out those eyes!
Such a beauty.
I call the one on the left: “twirl your dress all flouncy like”.
Gorgeous and such a wonderful person. Michelle’s smile lights up a room!
Pretend besties – I think they did a great job!
Ashley rocking the frock!
Sarah B’s megawatt smile had to be accompanied by bold lip colour. Love it!
Sorry Mike, chopped you off again. Lol.
Love this one. In the cornfields.
Have a wonderful day,
Liz Contact Me, I would love to speak with you!
