Family-Friendly Fun ~ Vicki and Matt’s Wedding
Vicki and Matt had a lot of fun with their wedding. They loved every minute and every small detail. They were so thrilled to be starting life as a married couple and that joy overflowed onto each aspect of the day.
The couple were married in July of 2012 in a loving and family-oriented beach ceremony.
The couple’s family members helped prepare details of the wedding, such as making centrepieces, invitations, and seating charts, which made the day a celebration of love, not just between Vicki and Matt, but between their whole family.
Matt had fun keeping a wedding website, but in the end, will cherish most the moment he first saw his bride walking toward him.
I asked Vicki and Matt some questions about their wedding day. Here is what they had to share:
Which one moment will last for each of you forever?
Neither of us are really sure – we enjoyed the whole day! we loved our limo driver and limo service- Request Limousine. Amazing. We both loved doing all the pictures, and the dance after dinner.
Best advice for future bride/grooms?
Enjoy your day – take it all in and don’t worry when things go wrong.
Best wedding related decision?
Hiring elizabeth&jane photography! Also the beach location, limo driver, doing the sunset pictures after dinner, our adorable ring bearer Michael and flower girl Sadie. Matt loved keeping the wedding website!
We got great feedback on the pails with activities for the kids during dinner, and we loved the centrepieces that Matt’s Mom and Dad helped with – they had sand from the beach of the Taylor’s summer vacation spot in Florida.
What was the funniest memory from your wedding day?
Maybe the speeches – they were all so clever, or the dancing.
What is your favourite image from your wedding day?
The one of us in the sunset on the boardwalk – I love the colours, the way we look, it’s beautiful! Matt liked me coming down the aisle – his first look at me.
