Puppy Love ~ Sonnet and Jane
It’s no secret, I LOVE dogs, so when my younger sister Jane decided to get a puppy I was really excited! You may remember hearing about Sonnet on the Ottawa Dog Blog, where I talked about Jane and her new puppy love.
When I was visiting my family last summer I made sure to get some photos of our family’s adorable new addition! These two love each other so much and are very attached. At the time of these photos, Sonnet was about 5 months old.
Though Sonnet weighed about 5 pounds at this point, she thought playing with the neighbour’s full grown standard poodle was a good idea. Here they are playing in some nice fresh dirt after which Sonnet went home for a bath!
I thought it would be fun to get Jane some stuff with pictures from this day. One of her favourites is a blanket (Sonnet has a matching one for her dog bed).

Sonnet helped to model the blanket – see if you can spot her! Jane’s roommate nicknamed this the camouflage blanket because when Sonnet sleeps on it sometimes you can’t tell she’s there.
Sonnet’s little sister Matilda thought she’d help with the modelling too.
