Rustic Romance ~ Kurtis and Bailey’s Engagement Session
This engagement shoot was special for me because I am friends with the couple. The groom, Kurtis, is best friends with my brother-in-law, so I’ve known him for several years. I liked Bailey as soon as I met her, especially when I saw how happy she made Kurtis. These two have a great partnership and really complement each other.
These two chose a wonderful location for their photos. I always urge couples to think of a location that is meaningful for them. In this case, the farm belongs to Kurtis’ grandfather. The car is from the 1950’s, left and forgotten on the property. Luckily the pictures with it look great because we got quite scratched climbing in and around it!
I love the long grasses, old trees and lake views in this location. It was perfect as it allowed me to really capture Kurtis and Bailey having fun together, whether they were biking or just sitting in each other arms.
The couple were married in November of 2011, so stay tuned for those photos. For now, meet Kurtis and Bailey.
Kurtis designed Bailey’s ring and had it custom made at Goldform Jewellers in Hintonburg (my fave jeweller!). It had elements of their Irish roots and is just gorgeous.
Have a wonderful day,
Liz Contact Me, I would love to speak with you!
