Bling Bling ~ Ottawa

I haven’t really publicly announced it yet, but I am getting married in a month (yay!). I am a teensy bit obsessed with my amazing engagement ring and yesterday I finally got around to taking some really closeup macro shots of it using some of my father’s original Nikon manual lenses.

The super-closeups are taken with the old lenses, the others are taken with my 50mm 1.4 lens.

This is what I like to call the Mr. Potato Head series.
