Well this is little Layla and she is so very sweet. She made her appearance in January and has been the light of her family’s eye ever since!
Layla was just four days old in these portraits – she was so tiny!

A Warm Little Bundle for a Cold Winter’s Day

Aidan was a rock star during his session, including nailing daddy a few times when the diaper was off…but I think it was worth it – don’t you?

Baby Mélika
Posted on Apr 16, 2010 at 5:00 pm by Liz · 1 CommentShe was ready a bit early, but she didn’t care. They had just had the baby shower and she decided it was time…6 weeks early.
Before she was even born, Mélika was already affecting the world around her. Her grandmother had been going through treatment for breast cancer and she brought Mélika’s sonogram picture with her to her treatments. It is what got her through, this little soul. I bet you Mélika wanted to celebrate her grandmother being done because she arrived right after the treatments were completed so her grandmother could welcome her into the world right from the delivery room.
She made her entrance at a mere 4.5lbs and miraculously, with nothing wrong at all, she was just ready.

My favourite image from the session is the black and white one below (on the left). It just speaks to me and it needs to be printed large I think!
Look out…baby sneeze!
Two beautiful 5×5 books were given as a gift to Mélika’s family. Such a great way to showcase the photos! This post has been waiting until the family received their wonderful gift.
