Can a Toronto Maple Leafs fan and an Ottawa Senators fan find love?

Why yes, yes they can!

Last week, Erin, Chris and I got together at the famous 5 Span Bridge in Pakenham, Ontario to shoot their engagement session. We had a great time and it was filled to the brim with laughs. Erin and Chris have chosen me to be their wedding photographer for their beautiful fall wedding coming up in October and I was excited to have their engagement session because it gives us a chance to work together and hang out before their wedding.

Erin has a very unique engagement ring – it has the centre of an Irish Claddagh ring and the rest of the Claddagh ring will be made up by her wedding band. Another unique quality of the ring is that it is red and it is so beautiful. Red is also going to be their wedding colour – I can’t wait!

I took a lot of photos at this session and I can tell you that most of them were of these two giggling. Chris is such a joker and kept making funny faces and just generally cracking Erin (an me!) up – it was awesome.

Zoom Zoom

A few weeks ago our car was given a grim sentence. We are not car people by any measure and it needed A LOT more work put into it than we were willing to do. We need a reliable vehicle and therefore made the decision to sell our current car buy a new(ish) one.

Our old car was a Nissan Sentra and was very good to us for the 4 years we had it. We bought it used, and there were two owners before us. It got us around, back and forth from Ottawa to Toronto and was a great car.

Our new car is a 2008 Mazda 3 and I am pretty much in love with it. We arrived over an hour early for a wedding last weekend so I snapped some photos of our new ride.
