As most of you know, I am crazy about dogs. What you might not know is that I am the creator and facilitator of the Ottawa Dog Blog, a blog dedicated to everything dogs in Ottawa. I started the blog almost three years ago after Paddington had to go through some pretty intense surgery. If you’d like to read about my journey into dog blogging, check out this article here.

I was extremely excited to discover that the Ottawa Dog Blog has been chosen by Canadian Living Magazine as one of the top Canadian Blogs!!

The Ottawa Dog Blog is featured in the November Issue of Canadian Living Magazine that is on newsstands now.

The Story of Their Wedding Day ~ Katie and Mathieu

Posted on Sep 14, 2010 at 12:00 pm by · No Comments

One of my absolute favourite things to do with wedding photos, is lay them out in a beautiful 12×12 or 10×10 photo book. I love it – it may come from my graphic design background, but there is nothing more fun than laying out a photo book…aside from actually shooting that is! I shoot each wedding day like a story so the book is a natural way for the photographs to be displayed.

Katie and Mathieu ordered a 12×12, 40 page Wedding Photo Book and it did not disappoint! The 12×12 is such a “go big or go home” size and it’s just beautiful. They also ordered two 8×8 copies of the book for each of their parents – how sweet and such a great idea for a gift for parents!

Books are heirloom pieces that can be passed down to future generations to remember such a beautiful wedding day. All of our photo books are professionally bound, hardcover with thick, lay-flat pages.

Have a wonderful day,

Pampered Puppy Dog Product Reviews

Pampered Puppy Dog Product Reviews

I am so excited to tell you about something I’ve been working hard at this month: the Pampered Puppy Product Reviews! I was approached by Pampered Puppy a few months ago about doing the product reviews for June and July and I jumped at the chance. It was such fun and Paddington and Corduroy loved trying out the products and posing for the pictures.

We reviewed four products this month and you can head on over to the Pampered Puppy website to see them.

I also have a lovely ad on the home page of the site which I am very excited about.

Book Book

Posted on May 6, 2010 at 12:13 pm by · 7 Comments

I recently acquired the most fantastic thing! It is called the Book Book, and it is an amazing leather case for my laptop that makes it look like a book!!! As I am a HUGE bookworm and all around nerd, it is absolutely the perfect thing for me!

I put the Book Book on one of the shelves of my reading nook. Can you find it?

The Book Book is made by a company called Twelve South that makes fun stuff for Mac products. They have some really cool items, and I was incredibly impressed by the quality of this product. You might want to take a look in the mirror… you look a little green. It’s probably the intense jealousy you are feeling. :P

Have a great day, and be sure to check out my website!
