Happiness Walks on Busy Feet

As the weather gets warmer (recently: a lot warmer!!) and as our wedding season kicks into high gear, our blogging will become a little less frequent. We are busy and I am loving it!
Don’t worry, we will still be blogging all of our sessions, but they may come at you all at once instead of nicely spaced apart. I have quite a few sessions that need to be blogged so those will be going live in the next week or so, including a funtastic shoot I did with Jane a few weeks ago!
Since posts are just plain boring without a photo, here is one from a wedding reception I photographed last weekend. Disclaimer: objects in photo may appear larger than actual size. 
A bee is never as busy as it seems; it’s just that it can’t buzz any slower.

Bling Bling ~ Ottawa

I am a teensy bit obsessed with my amazing engagement ring and yesterday I finally got around to taking some really closeup macro shots of it using some of my father’s original Nikon manual lenses.
The super-closeups are taken with the old lenses, the others are taken with my 50mm 1.4 lens.
This is what I like to call the Mr. Potato Head series.
