2011 Holiday Card Mini Sessions

I am happy to announce that elizabeth&jane photography will be offering Holiday Card Mini Sessions once again this year!

This year’s sessions will take place on October 30th at Brewer Park.

Holiday Card Mini Session Details:

• Session fee is $190 and INCLUDES 25~5×7 custom designed holiday cards and a complimentary 5×7 print
• 20 minute session for up to 5 people (max. 2 dogs)
• a private online gallery with approx. 7-10 proofs
• The $190 session fee is due upon booking to secure your space and please note there are no refunds (except in the case of illness where a credit towards another session with be issued).
• In case of rain, a new date will be announced.

They’re Back! Holiday Card Mini Sessions

I realize that it’s only September and you’ll probably all shoot me dirty looks for bringing up the holidays, but here I am doing it! With fall just around the corner, it is one of my busiest times of year so the earlier I start planning the better!

I had such fun last year doing the Holiday Card Mini Sessions that I decided to bring them back! This year I’ll be hosting two days, one in the east end of Ottawa and one in the west end. I am also now offering two different session packages this year. There are also twelve different card styles to choose from so there will definitely be something for everyone – there is even a beautiful Chanukah card this year which I am very excited about.

Silver Mini Session

• 30 minute session
• 5-10 photos professionally edited and retouched
• 24 cards
• $30 print credit

$200 +tx

Gold Mini Session

• 30 minute session
• 10-20 photos professionally edited and retouched
• 10 desk prints (8×10 or smaller, of your choice)
• 48 cards
• $150 print credit

$500 +tx

The Holiday Card Mini Sessions will take place on October 30th at Hog’s Back Park (rain date 31st) and November 6th (rain date 7th) at Petrie Island.

Early Bird Special

Book your session before October 16th and receive three FREE 5×7 prints of your favourite images from the shoot!

Full session fee due to book your time and date. This event is very limited and will sell out, so book soon to secure your spot and avoid disappointment! To book your session, email Liz.

If you had a session or a wedding with elizabeth&jane photography in the last year and would like to use some of your session photos in a holiday card, send me an email and we can make it happen. Cards are $70 for each pack of 24 cards.

Not Liz’s Fault Day

Today is my day: today is Not Liz’s Fault Day.

Let me explain. In my life, I am rarely right – it’s just how it is. I’m kind of a doofus sometimes and I think I’m right, but usually I am not. It’s quite funny actually. Well four years ago today I actually was right about something and it was a big deal.

We marked the triumphant day in our calendar and that is how Not Liz’s Fault Day was born. Every year Thomas tries to do something different. One year it was signs all over the house and today he brought me flowers.

I am celebrating today with a little Say Yes to the Dress, some Better Off Ted and maybe a little dancing to Katy Perry‘s new album.

I also managed to burn one of my fingers on my new hair straightener – but because it’s today: it’s not my fault! haha

Happy Canada Day!

I hope everyone has a great Canada Day today! Thomas, Paddington, Corduroy and I are celebrating with a nice relaxed day.

Thomas and I are also enjoying these delicious cupcakes from one of his clients, Amanda. I may or may not have eaten one for breakfast this morning…

(Awkward) Family (Photos) Day

In Ontario today, we are celebrating a relatively new holiday, Family Day. I love this concept and will spend it happily surrounded by my family.

Sort of along the same lines, I found this website and I cannot stop going through it and my abs now hurt from laughing so much. It is so hilarious. I want to point out that these are prime examples of why to hire a professional photographer!
