Greenboro BBQ Fundraiser

It has been a very busy couple of weeks which has lead to a fall cold (ew!) and me being quite behind on my blog posts. Stay tuned for LOTS of new posts and some new and exciting announcements in the next coming days!

A few weekends ago I had the pleasure of once again being the photographer at the Greenboro BBQ for Big Sky Ranch. The event was held at Conroy Pit dog park and everyone had a great time. We helped to raise over $12,000 for Big Sky Ranch!!

Pup Art Photos

Lynne from Bark and Fitz and I had such a great time at the Wiggle Waggle Walkathon on Sunday September 13th. We had a GREAT turnout to our Pup Art Photo booth and we raised over $500 for the Ottawa Humane Society!

Everyone who signed up got a raffle ticket to win some fab gear from Bark and Fitz as well as a FREE Photo Session with me! I am very excited to announce that Miss Texas Belle and her human, Jennifer, won the draw!

Miss Texas Belle will be featured on the blog soon as Jennifer has already scheduled her shoot – I can’t wait!

12th Annual Jason Campbell Golf Classic ~ Ottawa

This year, my good friend, Jason, asked me if I would photograph his charity golf tournament. The Jason Campbell Golf Classic raises money so that Jason and his family can purchase DVDs and games for the Oncology ward at CHEO.

Jason himself battled cancer as a teenager and found that watching the same movies over and over while at the hospital for treatment didn’t do much to lift his spirits. He wanted to give back so that the kids who are going through what he did, have an outlet to forget about their cancer for a little bit by watching a newly released movie or playing Guitar Hero on the Nintendo Wii.

The tournament is always a lot of fun and is held at beautiful Irish Hills Golf and Country Club. I got to ride around in my own golf cart – something I haven’t done before!

Bad Dog Mug Shots from Westfest ~ Westboro, Ottawa

Corduroy and I had a great time hanging out with the Bark & Fitz crew this weekend in Westboro for the very well attended Westfest 2009.

We had a lot of dogs come out to get their Mug Shots taken and we were able to raise $550 for BARK Rescue! If you had a photo taken, head over to the Ottawa Dog Blog for instructions on how to download your dog’s mug shot.
