FREE Monthly Desktop Backgrounds! ~ April
Posted on Apr 6, 2010 at 6:06 pm by Liz · No CommentsI am so excited to launch my newest endeavour: FREE Monthly Desktop Backgrounds!
If you are like me, you have calendars everywhere, and if you aren’t, I am sure you would like to glance at one from time to time. I wanted to combine my love of design, photography, computers and calendars and this is what was born.
I will release 2 new calendars every month. The first one will be here and will feature babies, kiddos, people in love and other awesomeness. I will also be releasing one through the Ottawa Dog Blog which will feature, you guessed it, a dog every month!
I hope you enjoy our first calendar featuring Baby Wesley! This was one of my favourite photos and it just had to be the photo for the month of April.

Let Google Help You Plan Your Wedding
Posted on Feb 25, 2010 at 1:30 pm by Liz · No CommentsPlanning your wedding can be a daunting task. I’ve written before about how I used Wedding Wire’s tools to plan and found them great. There are many options, but one in particular I just had to share because it’s so neat.
Google is helping couples plan their wedding by creating free templates for use with Google Docs. I use Google Docs all the time to store information that I need to access from anywhere – blog post ideas, the code for my blog post footers, even shopping lists sometimes! There are so many facets to Google Docs that I know I haven’t even scratched the surface on it.
Google created a video to illustrate how easy it can be and there are many, many templates online to do pretty much anything you need to do for your wedding.
If you already have a Gmail account, then you automatically have access to Google Docs. If you don’t, it’s easy and free to sign up.
Thanks to Studio 1948 for letting me know about this fab new feature!
Have a wonderful day,
