A Sweet Afternoon Wedding ~ Josee and Darrell’s Sneak Peek
Posted on Sep 10, 2011 at 6:32 pm by Liz · 1 CommentThis afternoon I had the pleasure of photographing Josée and Darrell’s wedding.
Surrounded by family and friends, these two spoke words straight from the heart and the love could definitely be felt in the room.
Congratulations you two!

And of course we cannot forget their two adorable pups, Gaston and Tom – complete with bow-ties for the celebration.

Have a wonderful day,

Big and Little
Posted on Jul 3, 2011 at 2:37 pm by Liz · 4 CommentsYesterday I got to spend the morning with Tina, Sasja (pronounced Sasha) and their human, Aislinn. It was a beautiful sunny day and we had a wonderful time walking, playing and chatting about puppies.
Aislinn rescued Tina from the Adopt a Greyhound Network three years ago and they’ve been inseparable ever since. They really have a beautiful bond.
Sasja is Whippet and a new addition that arrived last Thursday. She is just the cutest little ball of energy you’ll ever meet.
Lots more soon, but one for now. Meet Tina (left) and Sasja (right).

Part one: Puppies
Posted on May 21, 2011 at 3:08 pm by Liz · 1 CommentThere is nothing I adore more than a couple in love with each other, and their pets!
Genevieve and James brought their three dogs, Milo, Belle and Parker to their engagement sessions and we had such a great time. I am going to break this post into two, because I want to feature one with just their dogs, and the other with just the two of them – because that’s how I roll.
Up first are the puppies (who are not really puppies anymore, but I still call them that)
I just love this shot, I love how random it is with everything going on.

The Glebe is so beautiful.

Milo is a rock-star and demanded his own closeup.

And another of sweet Milo.

The beautiful Belle.

The handsome Parker.

This is one of my favourite shots and I think it’s because of the way Belle is standing. She looks so elegant!

Again, check out how Belle is standing. This one is less elegant and more…well just funny!

Parker wanted the treats.

Milo got pretty tuckered out by the end of the session.

Check back soon for part two of this post!
Have a wonderful day,

Love in the Glebe ~ Genevieve and James’ Engagement Sneak Peek
Posted on May 8, 2011 at 7:25 pm by Liz · 4 CommentsSpring has sprung and I am back at it in full force with many engagement and pet sessions booked for May.
Yesterday I got to spend some time with Genevieve and James in the Glebe for their engagement session. These two are the kind of people you want in your life – they are both incredibly sweet and genuine and are so in love. They exude happiness and I couldn’t help but get caught up in the giggles.
I usually only post one portrait for the sneak peek blog posts, but I had to break my rule for this one because I wanted to make sure to include an oh-so-darling family portrait with Genevieve and James’ furkids. They are beyond adorable and I just love it when couples include their pets into their engagement sessions – I actually encourage it.

Meet Parker, Milo and Belle. How cute is their furry family??

Genevieve and James – thank you for remembering to bring your “special” dog treats and I can’t wait until your beautiful August wedding!

And then there were three
Posted on Apr 22, 2011 at 6:59 pm by Liz · 1 CommentI’ve been meaning to re-do one of my about portraits since we brought Wellie home in March, but just got around to doing it today. I am really happy with the result and I think you’ll like it too! I blogged before about the images for my about page.
Introducing my new about image with Wellington, Corduroy and Paddington.
About Page Portraits – Dogs

Shooting data: D700 with 50mm f/1.4D lens, ISO 280, f/3.5, 1/250
Once again, this shot was taken by Thomas. It was even more tricky handling three dogs at the same time while making the leashes wrap around my leg and trying to make them sit all pretty-like. Thomas succeeded though and I love this shot!

ps. Happy Bunny weekend all!!
