Pumpkin Patch Kid ~ Claudia’s Sneak Peek

Posted on Oct 24, 2011 at 7:30 am by · No Comments

Yesterday morning I had a lot of fun walking around Miller’s Pumpkin Patch in Manotick with Claudia and her family. She picked out several “perfect” pumpkins, most of which were actually gourds.

I have photographed Claudia almost every year since she was born and it’s so wonderful to see her grow up.

Mommy told her to think of her happiest memory – I don’t know what she was thinking about but this looks pretty happy to me!

Superhigh Swinging! ~ C. Family Sneak Peek

Posted on Sep 11, 2011 at 7:01 pm by · 3 Comments

This afternoon I got to play in the park with the C. Family. We had a great time running, climbing and swinging.

First up, the whole family outside of their beautiful home where they just moved last week! I must say I was really impressed as there was not a moving box in sight!

And of course, each kiddo separately doing what they do best.

Swinging.

A little tumble didn’t ruin his day!

Posted on Apr 5, 2011 at 10:00 am by · No Comments

I had the pleasure of photographing little Jack a few days before Christmas and he was such a sweetheart. The poor little monkey had a fall about 15 minutes after we started the session and we had to take a quick break and watch some cartoons while getting Mommy-cuddles to make it all better.

After our little break, we played trucks in the kitchen and eventually braved the cold and headed outside for a walk in the park. I just love little kids in snow-suits! So cute!

Jack is such a wonderful little boy and his parents love him very much. He wasn’t too sure about me after his fall (I think he thought my big lens might have cause it – I promise it didn’t!), so Mom and Dad jumped up and down many times over to get him to giggle and although I wasn’t the one jumping and out of breath, I think it was very much worth it! Jack had a wonderful time and eventually forgot about the lady with the scary camera and had a great time.

Thank you Paulette and Tim for allowing me to capture your son’s joyful spirit. I can’t wait to do it again!

I love the face he is making!

Not too sure of me…

This was not posed at all – this is 100% natural and how he decided he wanted to watch TV. So adorable! Love the little pinkie sticking out.

I love creating custom items from portrait sessions and one of my absolute favourite products are these super adorable 3×3 Mini Books. They are magnetic and even stick to the fridge!

Waiting on the World to Change

Jen is the lovely and amazing talent behind Jennifer Bailey Photography. She was expecting her fourth little miracle and she asked me to take some portraits to remember their family before her three kids turned into older siblings again.

Bum!

6 Reasons Why You Should Have a Cupcake on Your Birthday

Posted on Jun 30, 2010 at 1:30 pm by · 3 Comments

You may remember Olivia from her mom’s maternity shoot, her newborn shoot, and her “pink” shoot. A few weeks ago we had a very special session – Olivia had a birthday and she turned one!

I had wanted to do a shoot with a little one in a tutu for a while so this proved to be the perfect opportunity. For the occasion, Olivia was given her first ever cupcake. She loved it, and she thinks everyone should have a cupcake on their birthday and so made this list:

6 Reasons Why You Should Have a Cupcake on Your Birthday by Olivia

1. Because you are turning One.

2. Because Mommy gave one to you.

3. Because it’s yummy.

4. Because Mommy brought bubbles AND cupcakes and those go well together.

5. Because the cupcake gets everywhere.

6. Because it will make Olivia smile.
