I Get By With a Little Help From My Friends

There are some people you are just drawn to in life. People who are warm, caring and immensely fun to be around. Katie and Adam are of this sort of people.

I am friends with Katie, but had not met Adam until the shoot. I’d heard stories about how wonderful he was and the stories definitely did not disappoint. Not only was he great in front of the camera, but when he heard that we needed a place inside to shoot because the weather was turning, he, without hesitation, offered to open the bar at the Embassy Hotel and Suites in Ottawa where he is the bar manager. Amazing! Adam to the rescue!! After a few quick calls to check with the suits, it was oked and we were on our way! It is times like these that I am reminded of the good in people, the willingness to help someone else out and that makes me very happy.

The bar was a perfect location to shoot in and it worked out great. The bar at the Embassy Hotel and Suites in Ottawa is definitely worth seeing. The walls are lined with books and it has such great atmosphere that I must go back when it is open and I am not shooting.

Thank you very much to Katie and Adam for both modelling, and saving the day. I owe you one!

Emma ~ Fashion Photography in Toronto

Hope Live and A-Channel Morning!

I am very excited to soon be heading out to the GCTC for Hope Live tonight in support of Fertile Future! Headliner is Rick Mercer and I know he will do an excellent job at keeping everyone laughing. The event will be hosted by Seamus O’regan, who I love on Canada AM and the food will be by the amazing and award winning Beckta. It’s going to be a wonderful night!
