What is black and white (and tan) and cute all over? ~ Bailey, Rascal and Zoë’s Sneak Peek
Posted on Oct 17, 2011 at 1:43 pm by Liz · No CommentsAfter having to reschedule once due to dreary weather, I was thrilled to photograph Bailey, Rascal and Zoë yesterday afternoon in the beautiful sunshine and fall weather.
Bailey’s humans, Chelsea and Scott contacted me after seeing Barley’s images on the blog a few weeks ago. Barley and Bailey are best of friends and I guess Barley had been bragging about all those treats he got! haha.
Bailey is a beagle/lab mix and honestly looks like someone took a shrink ray and just shrunk a black lab down to a mini size. She is so tiny, and so very sweet. I had a great time playing with her and getting covered in licks and love.
Meet Bailey.

Teensy tiny shrunk down Bailey.

I think in her previous life, Bailey must have been a bunny rabbit by the way she hopping around the field.

Smiling up at Chelsea.

After we finished playing outside, we headed back to Chelsea and Scott’s place for some shots of their other fur-kids, Rascal and Zoë, who definitely knew how to work it for the camera.

THEN Mom gave Rascal some catnip and all bets were off!

The Real Milo and Otis ~ Sneak Peek
Posted on Jul 24, 2011 at 1:17 pm by Liz · 7 CommentsWhat a better way to spend a hot day than with a hot dog (and cat)!
Milo and Otis won the Montreal Road Animal Hospital contest that was held last winter and decided to wait for warmer weather for their session – and boy was it ever warmer yesterday afternoon!
Two for now, but lots more on the way. These two are freaking adorable.
Otis wasn’t too sure about playing, she was so over it after a few seconds. She must have thought we were crazy trying to get her to pounce.

Milo loves Vikki. A lot.

Beauty in Your Own Backyard
Posted on Aug 9, 2010 at 9:30 pm by Liz · 8 CommentsI am sure Sarah and Ben had walked through this field a hundred times without thinking about how perfect it was for a portrait session, but as soon as I drove past it on the way to their house, I fell in love. We were scheduled to go to one of my favourite graffiti walls, but we just had to photograph here first. It was perfect and beautiful…and home to the biggest spider I’ve ever seen!! eek. I decided not to document that part of our shoot.
Sarah and Ben have the most adventurous cat I’ve ever met. Her name is Jupiter and she loves being outside. Also in their family is Percy, a lab mix they rescued from a shelter in Kingston a few years ago. She is sweet and probably the best behaved dogs I’ve ever met. I love it when couples or families decide to include their pets in their portrait sessions!
We shot a few with the furkids, then ventured out on our own for some fun couples portraits. Sarah and Ben have been married for over three years now and are still as in love as the day they got married.
Sarah and Ben are also cool because we share a love for Sushi and they recently introduced me to an amazing Sushi Restaurant in Ottawa called Genji. If you love sushi, definitely check them out!
And without further adieu, may I present: Sarah, Ben, Percy and Jupiter.
