Between the Trees ~ Erin and Kevin’s Engagement Session
Posted on May 24, 2013 at 9:00 am by Liz · 1 CommentErin, Kevin and I met up at the Ornamental Gardens at the Experimental Farm for their engagement session. It was a beautiful day to spend with this lovely couple. We had a lot of fun chatting, especially about our shared love of dogs.
These two are so sweet and so obviously in love. Their happiness shines brightly through these photos.

Poolside Pups ~ Cookie, Barley, Mickey and Jersey
Posted on May 23, 2013 at 9:00 am by Liz · 1 CommentLooking back on this beautiful summer session makes me desperate for warm weather. I can’t wait until it’s pool time again and I know Cookie, Barley, Mickey and Jersey, are also eagerly waiting. These four pups love swimming in the pool, so that’s how we spent their session.
These dogs have such a deep bond with their humans, it was so nice to spend the day with them. Holly warned me that Barley would be a handful, but all the dogs were happy to pose for my camera.

Lukas – Tiny Light Session
Posted on May 22, 2013 at 9:00 am by Liz · No CommentsDoing charity work and giving back has always been a huge part of who I am. There are two primary organizations I work through to do photography sessions for families who are going through medical problems and may not have the time or finances to afford family portraits.
The Tiny Light Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides professional photography for children and families that have been faced with a life-altering diagnosis. It is a Canadian national charity and I am proud to be a part of it.
Lukas’ Mom contacted the Tiny Light Foundation in the winter and was put in touch with me. We decided on a spring session and the day couldn’t have been more perfect! It was warm and gorgeous out as we walked around the Arboretum with Lukas and his brother and sister.
Lukas was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot when he was only 1 week old and underwent surgery to fix his heart at the age of 6 months. He has also recently been diagnosed with Autism. Lukas is such a bright and happy kid and we had a great time running and playing. He also recited some of his favourite commercials to me while having some apple juice – all in all it was a great day!
The whole family.

Siblings!

Lukas adores his big sister Jasmine.

His stuffed dog is very important to him.

There’s nothing better than playing with Dad!

Morgan is learning to walk and will be making Kristi and Eric chase after her in no time!

Blossoming Romance ~ Katherine and Chris’ Wedding Sneak Peek
Posted on May 20, 2013 at 4:03 pm by Liz · 1 CommentSaturday had the most beautiful weather and it was the perfect day for Katherine and Chris’ gorgeous wedding at NEXT in Stitsville. The day was wonderful and everyone had a great time celebrating with the happy couple.
I love shoes and I love bling so put them together and I am a happy girl!

Before we headed to the venue, Katherine and Chris had a first look at Andrew Hayden Park and it was just perfect. The cherry blossoms were out in full bloom and it was very appropriate considering one of their wedding colours was pink!

I just love the colours – and of course, the lovely couple!

If you can believe it, there was a huge turtle in this pond!
