100 Floating Lanterns ~ Vikki and Dan’s Wedding Sneak Peek

If you looked up into the skies of Ottawa last night and saw floating lanterns, you were witness to an amazing event! Vikki and Dan’s wedding was filled with love, laughter and well wishes sent up in the air with over 100 floating Chinese Lanterns.
Vikki and Dan had an intimate ceremony at the Rockcliffe Lookout with a touching ceremony performed by the illustrious Alan Viau. We then proceeded to the Rockeries for some portraits and then headed to a small but wonderful (and delicious) dinner at The Pantry in the Glebe. The evening was wrapped up with a fantastic party at the RA Centre in Riverside South and was topped off with the release the lanterns.
All in all, an amazing day and I am so honoured to have been chosen to be a part of it.
The lanterns were breathtaking. As everyone let them go, they floated up into the night sky and looked like stars when they got high enough. Such an amazing thing to witness, and photograph!
