Book Book

I recently acquired the most fantastic thing! It is called the Book Book, and it is an amazing leather case for my laptop that makes it look like a book!!! As I am a HUGE bookworm and all around nerd, it is absolutely the perfect thing for me!

I put the Book Book on one of the shelves of my reading nook. Can you find it?

The Book Book is made by a company called Twelve South that makes fun stuff for Mac products. They have some really cool items, and I was incredibly impressed by the quality of this product. You might want to take a look in the mirror… you look a little green. It’s probably the intense jealousy you are feeling.

Catherine Amongst the Daffodils

I met with Catherine last week for a photo shoot with the beautiful daffodils blooming in Hogs Back Park. There is only a short window to get these beautiful flowers all in bloom and we hit the time perfectly.

Cat is a great artist and she hand-makes beautiful cards. Cat loves nature and yoga and wanted to incorporate this into her session which I think we were able to do very well.

Cat was wearing an amazing necklace that she purchased through Etsy from a company called NeckLush. It is so beautiful and can be worn in so many different ways. I was really surprised at how light it was (I may or may not have tried it on myself haha). They are hand made in New York and are just so unique – I’ve never seen anything like it before!

This is my favourite shot from the session – a moment of giggles laughing at all of the cars driving by with people staring at us, wondering what we were doing.
