The Art of Chair Dancing
Posted on Feb 22, 2010 at 3:30 pm by Liz · 1 CommentFor those who know me, they know I love to dance. You can quite often find me rockin out to some dancy tunes that really make you move. I just love it – it invigorates me and really gets me excited about what I am working on.
I chair dance a lot. And by a lot I mean pretty much every day. Chair Dancing occurs when you start bouncing in your chair because the song is just that good. It often causes others to either stare, laugh or roll their eyes but I don’t mind because I’m groovin. It is quite similar to Car Dancing – which I also do a lot of (not surprisingly).
Right now, the song that is making me chair dance while editing some really great sessions is, Feel it In My Bones by Tiesto featuring Tegan and Sara. Awesome. Have a listen and tell me you didn’t start movin to the beat.
I’d like to thank Jane for getting me addicted to this song!
Another one I discovered a while ago is by one of my favourite bands; Owl City. They are phenominal, although Thomas keeps joking that the singer sounds like a little kid, but I don’t care, I love the sound. Very talented I say.
This one is called Hello Seattle the Remix. It starts off slow but don’t worry, there’s a pretty rad beat that kicks in to get you going.
Hope that gets you movin on a kind of sunny Monday afternoon!
Have a dancy day!

There is an auction happening online to bid on mentor sessions with great photographers around the world. Most sessions will be taking place at WPPI in March, but if you are not going, some photographers are offering mentoring sessions via telephone as well.

(Awkward) Family (Photos) Day
Posted on Feb 15, 2010 at 9:30 am by Liz · No CommentsIn Ontario today, we are celebrating a relatively new holiday, Family Day. I love this concept and will spend it happily surrounded by my family.
Sort of along the same lines, I found this website and I cannot stop going through it and my abs now hurt from laughing so much. It is so hilarious. I want to point out that these are prime examples of why to hire a professional photographer!
Enjoy. Hilarity will ensue..
