Happy Halloween!
Posted on Oct 31, 2009 at 5:08 pm by Liz · No CommentsI hope everyone has a great Halloween night tonight!
We bought a cute little painted Pumpkin and called her Penelope. Seems that during the night a creature thought she looked tasty and took a chunk out of her head! Oh dear, poor penelope.

I also had to post this AMAZING cake made by a friend of mine – she did such a great job!

I hope everyone has a spooktacular evening! Last night we watched one of my favourite Halloween movies, Hocus Pocus and tonight I’ll be watching Ghostbusters & 2 and handing out candy to Trick-or-Treaters and I can’t wait!
Have a wonderful day,

The Big Chop!
Posted on Oct 29, 2009 at 1:30 pm by Liz · 3 CommentsAbout a year ago I decided I wanted to grow my hair out and donate it to charity. Last week was the big day! I was VERY ready for my hair to be cut (I am not really a long hair person). I got about 10inches cut off and donated it to Angel Hair for Kids.
I decided to document the process and here it is! Special thanks for my Mom for taking the before photos, the ladies at the hair salon for taking the during and my awesome friend Lauralee Magill, another amazingly talented Ottawa photographer, for taking my after shots!

Scratchy the Cat
Posted on Oct 28, 2009 at 2:30 pm by Liz · 1 CommentI got a call a few weeks ago from Liz and Scott to tell me that their beloved cat, Scratchy, was just diagnosed with cancer. We booked an emergency session and took some beautiful shots and just in time as he passed four days later.
Scratchy was such a beautiful and loved cat. He was 16 and had been with Scott since he was 4 years old, when he was adopted from the Ottawa Humane Society. He loved his cuddles and enjoyed soaking up every ounce of attention he could get!
Scratchy is the model for the FAQ page of my website.
